BYLAW REVIEW DOCUMENTS

As you may know, Womonspace is currently revising our Bylaws. Although Womonspace had previously updated the Bylaws in 2005 and 2009, neither were registered with the Government of Alberta. Therefore, they were not legal documents. The only Bylaws currently filed with the Government is the 1982 version.

The Womonspace Bylaw Committee is working diligently with the government and Bylaw composition experts to bring our Bylaws up to a standard at which we can function reasonably and effectively.
We hope to have this exercise completed in early 2011.

“It is highly recommended that your society’s application contain 2 distinct documents. The First document is the application, which should include the objects. The second document is the bylaws, which should contain only the bylaws.”
